Midwest Moonlight scarf finished

Finished this late last year, it took me quite a while.

This was my first attempt at ‘lace’ and I found it quite difficult, though in retrospect I’m sure I’d find it easy now.

Pattern: Midwest Moonlight scarf in Scarf Style
Yarn: Blue Sky Royal Alpaca in Seafoam. Exquisite yarn which I’m looking forward to using again…I’m thinking of Nicky Epstein’s Berry Cluster Pullover from Knitting on the Edge after seeing Sally’s here.
Modifications Only unintentional. I found this pattern really quite boring to knit – ‘boring but have to concentrate on it’ which is the worst – so I put it down for quite some months, came back to it and started knitting it backwards, not being clever enough to tell the RS from the wrong.
Thoughts: BORING! But it is a nice look in the end….
