The Digit Shrug. Or shawl? Or Shrug? Part Two

The decision has been made. Everybody seemed to prefer it as a shrug and so, my Digit Shawl is no more. Meet Digit Shrug:

I discussed in detail the pattern in the first part of this post. It is left to observe that the slits on the sides of the arms, while perhaps necessarily large for the purpose of slipping one part of a shawl into another (see pics in last Part One), have too big a gape for the shrug. They will be sewn up, at least in part.

All in all, I’m happy and I learnt a lot from this project – all sorts of bits and pieces, how to knit holes, how to knit tabs and sticking out bits and so on!
