Is this the ruffle we had to have? New Knit on the Net up

The latest Knit on the Net is up. Its theme is Glamour – and of course that means a vintage take. There are some lovely pieces. I was especially taken with:

Miss DeHavilland by Jacquelyn Landry
Miss DeHavilland by Jacquelyn Landry

and isn’t this the epitomy of glamour:

Joan Crawford by Theodora Goes Wild

There’s been a lot of these around, but I don’t think I’ve seen a more sophisticated interpretation:

Ava by Jennie Atkinson

It’s in Kidsilk Haze, of course.

Oh, and you must go here to see what Henrietta Dups does with the Recession Ruffle. It’s enough to make one take up crochet. Almost enough. The politicians would tell us this is the ‘ruffle we had to have’.
