Dr Jekyll

I was one of the first customers of Dr Jekyll when it opened. It has really grown since, a bigger menu, always packed with what I’m guessing are locals, not backpackers who seem largely to stay on Acland St. It’s an area with a lot of competition, but we could have eaten here every day. The only downside was juices being bottled, not fresh.

Look at this gorgeous roesti – you wouldn’t believe it, but I’ve never had a good roesti in Europe, whereas in Australia I’ve yet to have a bad take.
